In 1958, a few short months before his death, Ven Pope Pius XII approved the Feast of the Holy Face, enshrining it on the Tuesday before Ash Wednesday.
We can consider the Feast of the Holy Face, as one of the final gifts left to the Church by that most holy pontiff.
And considering his great concern about the future of the Church at the end of his life, we should most urgently consider what this meant to him.
