Promises, promises

I’m not holding my breath. Journalists have tried to generate clicks with this kind of “insider information” before, but for years now all the highest offices in the church have been aligned to protect and to stop any kind of revelation or transparency of abuse and cover-up. All the forces in the church at the Vatican’s disposal now are increasingly deployed to make sure that those who cooperate with making change irreversible are protected.

This is not about the holiness of the Church due to the indwelling of the Holy Spirit that the corruption of men can never cancel.

Naive. He uses corrupt men precisely because they can be trusted to follow his orders to the letter. Giving him information about their corruption is like carrying coals to New Castle.

As one commenter writes, zero tolerance in this Church applies only to the traditional Latin Mass. All talk of fighting real corruption is hollow at this point.
