Martin Mosebach: Francis’ anti-trad diktat “comes too late”; “the spirit of tradition cannot be put back into the bottle … has grown so much under Benedict XVI that he can no longer enforce its prohibition at all.”

Martin Mosebach has criticised Pope Francis' conduct of office. The author told the Neue Züricher Zeitung (Thursday) that the Pope must defend the "two-thousand-year-old tradition against the respective present". However, Francis does not want to take on this role, Mosebach said. Orthodoxy is a burden for the pontiff "and not the Church's tried and tested guarantee of survival". From him, the incumbent Pope gets "very bad marks".

Mosebach also criticised the Pope's restrictions on the traditional Mass. "He has given the bishops the right to ban the old liturgy where it is celebrated. But he has not given them the right to allow it," Mosebach said. In doing so, he said, the Pope had severely limited the bishops' decision-making power, whereas otherwise he delegated many decisions to the bishops. "But his Dictatus Papae comes too late, because the spirit of tradition cannot be put back into the bottle. The tradition has grown so much under Benedict XVI that he can no longer enforce its prohibition at all," Mosebach added.

My latest column: “‘Sound of Freedom’ Raises Alarm On Child Trafficking“

Grossing more than current competitors on one of the biggest weekends of the summer, indie movie “The Sound of Freedom” starring Catholic favorite Jim Caviezel, has drawn critics in Hollywood. What else is new in the world capital of vanity, envy, pride, and every other cardinal sin?

After abortion, the number one crime against baby humans, the greatest evil afflicting the young is illegal trafficking, and sexual and labor slavery.

In defense of the film, however, one industry insider, the singer Jewel, is chanting a different note, so to speak. Fox News reported that she is practically raving with praise about the film, set to gross $40 million in receipts, dwarfing current Hollywood offerings. She urged fans to see the biopic about Tim Ballard, a former DHS agent who quit his job to rescue children from a sex trafficking operation.

She called it “little indie movie that could” and celebrated it for getting the word out about the child sex trade, which she claimed has more slaves in it currently than the trans-Atlantic slave trade. She added that “Sound of Freedom” is “kicking butt” in the box office, and, in a Twitter caption, blasted the media for “trying to politicize this movie.”
Jewel’s endorsement came less than a week after Sound of Freedom premiered in U.S. theaters, where it beat out “Indiana Jones and The Dial of Destiny” in movie ticket sales on July 4. The “You Were Meant For Me” singer jumped on social media to urge more people to go see the popular film.

In response to Twitter owner Elon Musk recommending the film be put on his social media platform, she stated, “You guys, I just saw the “Sound of Freedom””. You have to see it. I’m so verklempt (overcome with emotion). Some friends of mine made this movie and it’s been years of it being in production. It’s the most inspiring film,” she declared.

Sound of Freedom expected to break $100 million in gross receipts in second box office weekend

Sound of Freedom is once again shocking the box office with expectations of reaching nearly $23 million in its second weekend in theaters.

The film grossed more than $7 million on Friday, putting it on pace to finish the weekend with $81 million and to break $100 million in gross receipts, according to box office reports.

The Cambridge English Dictionary defines “inversion” as “a situation in which something is changed so that it is the opposite of what it was before, or in which something is turned upside down.”

Many have described the Church for some time now as “upside down” under Pope Francis. What was good is bad and what was bad is good. What was the Church before is over and that which was not the Church and the Faith before is what it is now. This comes to mind also when considering the words of the man who has been named the new head of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith.

The word “inversion” comes to mind in the following quote, where the very idea of faith is turned on its head from something revealed by God for our salvation into a reflection only of our wants and needs, irrespective of whether or not they are sinful, whether they are good or bad, without any reference to God.

“You know that, for many centuries, the Church went in another direction. It unwittingly developed a whole philosophy and morality full of classifications, to classify people, to put labels on people. This is . . . This one is like this; this one is like that. This one can receive Communion, this one cannot receive Communion. This one can be forgiven, this one cannot. Terrible that this has happened to us in the Church. Thank God, Pope Francis is helping us to free ourselves from these patterns” (Victor Manuel Fernandez, Sunday homily in La Plata Cathedral, March 2023).

The man who said that was, in Pope Francis’ latest assault against the Church and the Faith, named on July 1 to, within months, undertake the role of defending the Faith on behalf of the Pope for the universal Church. His appointment has rightly been the cause of outrage and consternation, resulting in an explosion of articles in the Catholic world for his assaults on the Faith, but also beyond, given his horrendous track record of dereliction of duty as an archbishop responding to accusations of sexual abuse. His appointment is simply more corruption and will inevitably lead to its further spread throughout the Church. Which explains well the motive for his appointment

They are coming for our children

A few weeks ago, homosexual/trans men and women matched in New York City chanting that they are coming from our children.

Two years ago, the San Francisco Gay Men’s Choir sang a song about coming for our children.

Perverts in dresses make smutty poses and prostitutes in front of the youngest of children. They call it Drag Queen Story Hour.

They say it is their right to have access to our children. If you complain, you are labeled a bigot.

Homosexual/trans teachers want to put your sons in dresses and call them Susie, all without your knowing.

I mentioned this in a message to you a few years ago, and I was labeled a hater. This is now on my Wikipedia page! Even though what I said was true!

They ARE coming for our children. THEY SAY SO THEMSELVES!

AND NOW THE UN IS NEGOTIATING A HARD LAW TREATY THAT WILL LABEL US HATERS FOR COMPLAINING.

At the United Nations, we are in the beginning stages of negotiating something called the Global Digital Compact that includes language about hate speech and gender ideology.

What this means is that you can be punished even for complaining about homosexual/trans access to your kids.

You can be punished for opposing their ideology.

You can be punished for keeping your kids away from these monsters.

And you should understand that UN leftists are negotiating this treaty with the help of the tech oligarchs, Google, Apple, and others. And you can be sure that the national security state is involved. FBI, CIA, NSA and others.

They want to make illegal just such communications as I am sending to you today!

We have plenty to worry about. But C-Fam is on this. We have been on this issue for years. We are on this negotiation every single day.

What is it worth to you that C-Fam spends time and treasure to say close to such an evil negotiation? To protect your children or your grandchildren, I suspect quite a bit.
