I saw the film yesterday.
The Cabrini that was canonized a saint constantly carried a Mass kit around with her in case she ran into a priest so that she would never be a day without the Holy Mass and the true peeence of Our Lord in the Eucharist. Not one mention of that in the entire movie.
Here’s the real Mother Cabrini about her orphanage in Denver:
“I will have no peace until I have wrested every last child from Protestant hands."
That line never would have made it past the approval of the Mormon producers.
The movie is a big disappointment. The element missing is the most important one in the lives of faithful Catholic religious women: the 19th century traditional Catholic piety no one has experienced since the Church has been eviscerated by Modernism and Protestant heresy.
