Washington archdiocese donates to repairs of storm-damaged National Cathedral

Cardinal Donald Wuerl of Washington, DC, has sent a $25,000 contribution from the archdiocese to help finance repairs to the (Episcopalian) National Cathedral.
Hurricane Irene caused major damage to the cathedral, toppling several spires. Repairs are expected to cost millions of dollars.
