Quote of the Day

I'd say the Holy Father's and Ronald's observation extends to any Christian in dealing with the people in their lives. Seeing the God-given beauty in others, and treating them with reverence and honor, even when they annoy the living spit out of us--that's a daily challenge any believer could address for a whole lifetime.
A theologian who does not love art, poetry, music and nature can be dangerous. Blindness and deafness toward the beautiful are not incidental; they necessarily are reflected in his theology." (Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, The Ratzinger Report, p. 130)
