Between March 2020 and April 6, 2021, when the program of mass vaccination was implemented in Trinidad & Tobago, 145 people died. By comparison, 1,022 people died in the four month period beginning with the start of the mass vaccination campaign on April 6 and ending on August 13, 2021.
