In preparation for the Holy Thursday Mass of the Lord's Supper, Father has furnished the altar of sacrifice with crucifix and candles in what is known as the "Benedictine" arrangement, named for Pope Benedict who has encouraged this element of continuity for the sake of more effective proclamation of the real presence of Christ in the Eucharistic Sacrifice of the Mass for the benefit of the faithful.
