The prayer called the “Angelus”, recited by the Church three times a day at 6 AM, 12 noon and 6 PM, brings to our minds and hearts the moment of the Incarnation of the Lord, and the beginning of our salvation, in the womb of the blessed Virgin Mary.
If you haven’t been praying this traditional prayer three times daily today is a good excuse to start doing so because today is the feast of the Annunciation and the Angelus is the “Annunciation prayer”.
