His Holiness Pope Benedict XVI has named His Excellency Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò apostolic nuncio to the United States as indicated in this morning's Vatican bulletin.The Pope has also named, as Bishop of Bismarck, Monsignor David D. Kagan, priest of the Diocese of Rockford and serving until now as Vicar General and Moderator of the Curia.
