Thanks to Philip Johnson for visiting our parish of Saint Francis de Sales in Benedict, Maryland. Phil spoke to parishioners Thursday after an evening Requiem EF Mass about the blessings he has received after learning he has an inoperable brain tumor two years ago while active duty in the Navy. After Phil's edifying talk we prayed the rosary together for all who suffer from cancer and other terminal diseases.
We wish Phil fair winds and following seas as he returns to his parish in North Carolina and continuing studies and formation in preparation for ordination.
