Bowman Memorial Fund

TSgt Shawn Bowman, a decorated Air Force reservist, husband and father, was killed in an automobile accident on Monday, December 14, 2009. The Bowman Memorial Fund will benefit his wife Marta, their two-year old son Eric, and their unborn child, who is due in April 2010. TSgt Bowman was a member of the 70th Operations Support Squadron, 70th Intelligence Reconnaissance and Surveillance Wing, Ft Meade, Maryland. His distinguished service includes a tour in Iraq for Operation IRAQI FREEDOM. He will be sorely missed.

Shawn Bowman was a parishioner at Saint Philip's in Camp Springs, MD, where the funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday. His remains will be transported to Illinois for a service there with family.

Please pray for the repose of Shawn's soul and the consolation of his widow Marta, his son Eric and their families.

We thank God for the gift of Shawn and for the blessings of his generosity in the love of marriage, fatherhood and military service to our nation.
