The Pope doesn’t decide

The pope doesn’t decide the Faith when it teaches about right and wrong. Or enable others that work in the Curia to attempt it either. Or call together a Synod of clergy, religious and lay people to decide. That’s up to God.

If the pope “teaches” that wrong is now right, that sin can be “blessed”, not only does he pervert the office of the papacy but he also undermines his own effort to use the Church to support the world’s agenda of the moment. 

This is true because he will, at the same time, undermine the Church’s role as teacher and, as a result, whatever she teaches or says will no longer be relevant or necessary.

Agreeing with the world makes you redundant.

October 13th: 106th Anniversary of “Miracle of the Sun” confirms our Lady’s apparition at Fatima and her message of necessity of praying the Rosary and reparation for sin

“People must amend their lives and ask pardon for their sins. They must not offend our Lord any more, for He is already too much offended!” - Our Lady to the visionaries at Fatima

On this day in 1917 Our Lady asked all of us through the visionaries to pray the rosary daily. October 13th was the day on which the miracle of the sun occurred to confirm Our Lady’s appearance and her message.

Let us hear and heed Our Lady again if we have forgotten or fallen by the wayside, giving up on prayer and penance.

Don’t get distracted: in the end where we spend eternity is what matters. Choose heaven with Our Lady, the Mother of God.

“O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell; lead all souls to heaven especially those who are in most need of Your mercy. Amen.”

Sacred Scripture: War in Israel & History Repeats Itself

In the aftermath of Israel’s 9-11 on October 7th this reading for today from the prayer of the Church, Breviarium Romanum, reminds us that humanity doesn’t change, tragically. Sin abounds. But, wonderfully, God does not change. Let us pray that grace will ever more abound and the Lord will move hearts to restore peace.
