The Vatican II mantra ad nauseum, thought to be capable of shutting down all argument to the contrary in regard to the “superiority” of the new Mass, is that there is “more scripture”.
Not so fast.

It should be noted that the psalter of the Liturgy of the Hours (Lauds, Sun, Wk 1) also omits vv. 10-12 from Ps. 63(62) because of "certain psychological difficulties" (GILH 131).
This is only one example of scores of cases in which our intellectual “betters” decided what of the Bible we are annd are not to.
