Congratulations, LCDR Johnson!

Many best wishes for fair winds and following seas to my very good friend and brother priest the Reverend Charles Johnson, CHC, USN, upon his selection for promotion to the rank of Lieutenant Commander.

Somebody won't be calling this blog author "sir" anymore.

Maybe never did...

Father (and Sir)!
Thank you for the kind words and the nice post. For anyone who might read this comment, the promotion to Lieutenant Commander is important for a priest chaplain mainly because it allows him to remain on active duty (in the ordinary way of things) for up to twenty years. Otherwise, one is obliged to depart after another year or so.

Thanks again for the congratulations and prayers!
Fr. Johnson

Thank you for visiting.
