Don’t forget Francis did the same thing to the heretics as he did with the TLM crowd and the orders he gutted like the Franciscans of the Immaculate. You never know what he’s thinking because he agreed with everyone and anyone to save appearances then proceeded with his agenda regardless.
Although it didn’t hurt her bookings on the lecture circuit, which it should be noted includes the Women’s Ordination (sic) Conference which pushes for female “priests”, Phyllis Zagano and the rest of the “female deacons” crowd were being used in just the same way as everyone else. Maybe it was all just about Francis. We may never know.
