Francis increasingly isolated as abuse denier and enabler

Rupnik: Slovenian Bishops Distance Themselves, Victims Come Forward

The Slovenian bishops in an October 27 statement "distanced" themselves from [Francis'] decision to incardinate Father Marko Rupnik in Koper Diocese. Rupnik allegedly committed fornication with subordinate adult consecrated women.

The presiding Novo Mesto Bishop Andrej Saje considers Rupnik to be guilty because his expulsion from the Jesuits could only be understood “as a penal sanction for serious, intolerable acts” under canon law.

Meanwhile, EditorialeDomani.it writes that five of Rupnik's victims distrust Francis and his alleged trial of Rupnik and have therefore come out of their former anonymity. They are Gloria Branciani (Anna), Mirjam Kovač (Esther), Vida Bernard, Mira Stare, and Jožica Zupančič.
