What to do when you are unable to attend Holy Mass and receive Holy Communion

Make an act of contrition in anticipation of going to Confession at your next opportunity, in particular

if being conscious of having committed mortal sin since your last sacramental Confession.

Make a spiritual Communion, perhaps in conjunction with watching live-streamed holy Mass on Sunday.

This Act of Spiritual Communion was recommended by St. Alphonsus Ligouri:
My Jesus, I believe that you are in the Blessed Sacrament. I love you above all things, and I long for you in my soul. Since I cannot now receive you sacramentally, come at least spiritually into my heart. As though you have already come, I embrace you and unite myself entirely to you; never permit me to be separated from you. Amen.

Continue to persevere in acts of charity and in daily prayer in communion with the universal Church, to include the rosary.
