If women have been “excluded” from the priesthood then Mary suffered the greatest offense which can never be repaired

The newly elected head of the German Bishops’ conference, Georg Batzing, deplores the “exclusion” ,so called, of women from the priesthood as instituted by Jesus Christ and handed down by the tradition of the church as an offense. This although conferring ordination upon women has already and constantly been declared impossible by the infallible magisterium of the Church and affirmed by Pope Francis.

If what Batzing says is true then our Lady suffered the greatest offense in the whole history of salvation, second only to the injustice of the crucifixion of Our Lord, which can never be repaired, because if anyone ever was worthy of being ordained a priest it was our Lady and she never in fact was so ordained.

It is an indisputable fact that Holy Mary was more worthy of the grace of the Priesthood than any man ever was or ever could be.

But, of course, all of those who have received the true Catholic faith know that the priesthood is not about power but service and that our Lady knew well, and was secure in, her role as the Mother of God. She did not seek to do anything other but rather only the will of our Heavenly Father, as taught by her divine Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

It’s beginning to look more and more like some of our bishops need to go back to the basic catechism lesson that the will of our Heavenly Father is the guiding principle of the life of every true Christian and Catholic. To choose otherwise is to be one with the devil and to be condemned with him.
