James Grein back to Mass today

James Grein came forward with great courage to reveal himself as a victim of Theodore McCarrick. His willingness to do so resulted in exposing the great crimes of the former Cardinal and his expulsion from the priesthood. James has struggled for years to practice the Catholic Faith after suffering the scandal and pain of his experience and as a result has been away from attendance at Mass. One of our parishioners invited him to join us at Saint Francis de Sales Sunday traditional Latin Mass and he did so today. We were overjoyed to welcome him into our parish family for the Mass and communal lunch at the church hall following. We hope and pray he will continue on the path of persevering in the Faith and thank him for his courageous witness.

Grein is pictured here with Father Cusick and members of the Scarlata family.
