Jesus Christ is lifted up today in His Church through mercy for those "practicing all the abominations of the nations and polluting the LORD's temple"

Jesus Christ the crucified Savior is lifted up by the members of His Body through their merciful love for all sinners, even those who have "mocked the messengers of God, despised his warnings, and scoffed at his prophets", those who have desecrated through profanation and sacrilegious communions the very Body and Blood of Jesus who died on the Cross for their, and our, salvation.

Jesus Christ crucified, died and Risen is the "remedy" of God for sin that "all may be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth".
