Sunflower, tomato, basil and garden bean seedlings, seeds of garden bean, squash, cucumber, cocozelle squash, wildflower mix, marigolds and teddy bear sunflowers await the results of rain, sun and time's "silent growth while men are sleeping".
It reminds me of one of my favorite passages from Psalm 65: And thus you provide for the earth; you drench its furrows, you level it, soften it with showers, you bless its growth.
