Beatification of John Paul II to take place in Rome on May 1, 2011

The Rite of Beatification of the Venerable Servant of God John Paul II (Karol Wojtyła) will take place at the Vatican, the 1st of May, 2011, the Second Sunday of Easter, of the Divine Mercy, presided by the Supreme Pontiff Benedict XVI.
